Job Description:
The project involved construction of two separate water treatment facilities for the treatment of groundwater contaminated with PFOS/PFAS. The Owner was US Army Corp of Engineers, but the WTPs were maintained and operated by Security Water District and the other by Widefield Water & Sanitation District. Each project included earthwork for the building foundations, building concrete work, concrete wetwell structure, yard piping, site access roads, metal building construction, interior finishes including plumbing, HVAC, fire suppression, drywall, process piping, chemical feed equipment, pumps, and installation of the Calgon treatment filters and coordination of electrical installation.
